  • Create consistent communication between residents, the MBNA Homelessness Working Group (“Working Group”), and City partners. •
  • Maintain clear boundaries and prioritize volunteer safety at all times.
Action Plan and Launch Packet

MESSAGE FROM OUR MBNA PRESIDENT:
Dear Members,
We are pleased to announce the launch of the new MBNA Homelessness Working Group, which will officially begin in June 2025. Please find attached the Community-Led Action Plan, drafted by Patricia Agnello and approved by the MBNA Executive Board. Both hotel and condominium members are encouraged to participate in and contribute to this important initiative. The working group will meet bi-weekly during the first two months, then transition to a regular schedule on the third Wednesday of each month starting in August.

An overview of the MBNA Homelessness Working Group will be shared at our upcoming monthly meeting on October 8th. As a reminder, MBNA will also be hosting a Candidate Forum for upcoming November elections on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, at 6:00 PM. This Working Group will provide an opportunity to engage with Commission and Mayoral candidates and discuss issues pertinent to MidBeach.

We look forward to your engagement and thank you for your continued commitment to the MidBeach community.
Sincerely,
Anamarie
MidBeach Neighborhood Association, President

Homelessness Working Group Meetings will be held the fourth Wednesday of every month commencing in August, 2025.  The first kick-off meeting will be held on June 11, 2025 via Zoom.
